Projects constitute design & build requirements of multi-discipline MEICA engineering solutions with values circa GBP 500K to 5M+, average portfolio value of £5m. Project scopes include but are not limited to- Instrumentation and Control Systems, LV Switchboards, Motor Control Centres, Control Panels- Systems Integration/Optimisation, Network Upgrades, PLC & SCADA, Telemetry- Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Engineering and Hazardous area solution requirements- Electrical Installation & Commissioning- Handover, closeout and defect resolution.The role requires active involvement and management of- Bid of project from initial conception/requirement stage to secure orders- Definition, design implementation and construction stages- Installation/commissioning stages and final handover to client- Carrying out project reviews to control projects but not limited to; check progress, manage cost, identify deviations from plan, detect risk and forecast future performance and reporting on KPI’s- Responsible ensure the projects are built to the highest standard, comply with legislation and customer specification, whilst maintain a strong proactive focus on QHSE requirements- Registering, compiling, submitting & negotiate extensions of time, extras to contract- Ensuring on time, on budget delivery, to customer satisfaction and maintaining morale within a multi-disciplined engineering team (10-40 members).
