Oversee business insurance for plant locations in five states, including general liability, property, auto, and worker\'s compensation.• Review insurance proposals from multiple insurance brokers and present them to management with recommendations on which provide maximum coverage at reasonable costs.• Track over 200+ fleet vehicles and ensure proper coverage is established across all states. • Investigate insurance claims and work with insurance carriers to receive funds though settlements or subrogation. • Draft relevant company risk policies and procedures, training materials, and other operational plans.• Serve as employee liaison to respond to questions presented to/by the Compliance Committee.• Assist Human Resources in handling complaints received either directly or from the employee hotline.• Work with General Counsel to create compliance agendas, meeting minutes, and audit plans.• Research legal and regulatory compliance issues impacting the company and identify gaps in processes with export control laws, conflict mineral reporting, and ESG functions. • Assist Compliance Committee members with compliance-related matters or projects within their specific departments (Legal, IT, Accounting, HR, Safety, Supply Chain, and Purchasing).• Prepare and file business renewals for other subsidiaries and charities under the company.
