I am a Senior Manager in the Intellectual Property department at Danfoss, an industrial equipment company. Danfoss designs, manufactures, and sells a range of products and solutions for refrigeration, heating, air conditioning, pump/motor control and off-highway machinery applications, including digitization and electrification of machines. I lead, manage and support research, development and portfolio management, from harvesting/disclosure to end of patent life for many Danfoss business units, and I counsel on all aspects of IP and IPR management primarily contract negotiations, litigation, due diligence and merger & acquisition activities. As part of the IP leader team I act as the general point of contact for questions regarding IPR & IP asset management and setting up an IP strategy, valuation of IP/IPR & licensing and technology transfer, realizing the overall business strategy for the benefit of all stakeholders in the Danfoss group.
