This is a business I started during lockdown. We offered high end roast dinners and gourmet burgers for delivery or collection in the Wokingham area. This business started from home at first then grew to a point where I hired a kitchen to work from. This business was a successful one, being nominated for awards and myself being featured a few times on the BBC food hour, sharing recipes and tips as well as profiling my business. Day to day duties included: Menu design, dish costing and budgeting food prep, cooking and serving Promoting the business locally and on social media channels such as TikTok, Instagram and facebook Supervising kitchen and delivery staff and being responsible for the day to day running of the kitchen Ingredient ordering and checking quality of said produce - dealing with suppliers on a daily basis to ensure the business got what it needed Taking orders from customers face to face and over the phone Delivery planning Hiring employees Provide training on food hygiene and allergies plus best practice to maximize the quality of the food we produce
