Social communicator, graduated from Andrés Bello Catholic University in Venezuela, with over 25 years of experience in audiovisual production for traditional media (TV and Radio) as well as new interactive digital media (Internet, Mobile, Blogs and Social Networks). He has about 20 years focused on technology journalism and content production for new media. It is also a technology consultant and has experience in management and technical communication in the implementation of new technology projects. He has contributed to the development of Internet in Venezuela, founding major websites and also directing the first live video broadcasts and on-demand through the network in 1997. The professional experience of Carlos José Monzón has been valued by major national and international companies who have sought his advice on technology and communications issues. One of his major projects was the creation of the Office of Alternative Media at Venevision (20••••09) that included relaunching venevision.com, daily site visits increased from to while the number of daily page views increased from to placing site statistics at the same level as other high-traffic sites in the country. In Carlos José Monzón connected journalism and technology in an area without precedent in Latin American television has earned high ratings.
