I am currently the continuous improvement manager at Cutco Cutlery Corporation. I am passionate about championing the principles of continuous improvement within our organization.Prior to my current position, I was a continuous improvement engineer at Cutco Cutlery Corporation. My responsibilities focused around the concepts of continuous improvement utilizing the principles of lean manufacturing. I facilitated meetings and projects that engaged and empowered employees. Additionally, I was an operations coordinator for Cutco\'s Retail Demonstrator Program. My responsibilities included inventory management, process improvement utilizing lean concepts, and constant interactions with multiple levels of our supply chain. Before that I was a quality engineer for Cutco where it was my responsibility to ensure the quality of the finished product, employ continuous improvement principles, and R&D for several new products.While I was in college at Gannon University studying mechanical engineering I worked for Vector Marketing as a Field Sales Manager. In this position I sold over of the Cutco product through in-home demonstrations. When I wasn\'t in the field selling Cutco I was the Assistant Manager of the Erie, PA district office, responsible for conducting interviews, advanced training seminars, field visits, and individual coaching sessions. This varied experience in supply chain, engineering, and sales has afforded me the opportunity to learn about multiple levels of the corporation and has strengthened my understanding with regards to how all areas support each other.Outside of work I am very active in my community. One of my passions is serving on the board for my local golf course. I am currently the board president but also served as its secretary for several years. Additionally, I am also responsible for the web development & social media marketing for the course. Outside of the golf course I also serve on a non-profit board that builds walking & hiking trails in our community.
