ABOUT CHRISTOPHER JOHN FERGUSON
Since 2019, I\'ve worked for the Scottish Courts and Tribunal Service in the area of digital transformation and training. I was appointed Digital Team Manager for the Judicial Institute for Scotland in 2022, where I look after the digital side of training for Scotland\'s judicial office holders.Outside of my work in the Civil Service, I am an entrepreneur, consultant and writer. I was named a Saltire Fellow in 2018 and attended Babson College in Massachusetts where I studied business finance, design thinking, innovation design and marketing. Since then, I have been helping companies to examine their approaches to creative innovation in their business.I also ran Dolce Stil Novo Sound Ltd, a company making accessories and effects for electric guitars. Our product Tone Magnet was launched early in 2019 following a successful patenting process. My background is in academia and in translation. I have been a member of the judging panel for the Premio Strega for five years. I am the author of several academic articles and thought leadership pieces and I keep an active interest in higher education and the Scottish university sector in particular.I am looking for opportunities to help companies develop creative approaches to business challenges, including evaluating new business models, designing new products and services from a design thinking framework and inspiring leaders. Please get in touch if you would like to know more about the services I offer.
