WORK HISTORY
Senior Insurance Officer @Enfield Council
Enfield, GB
Part of the Council’s insurance team, with responsibility for managing two Insurance Officers and a Business Administration Apprentice, who is seconded to our team part time. The team manages and monitors around 450-550 claims per annum on policies with large self insured retentions (SIR).There is currently some in house handling of material damage and third party damage only claims and I am working to expand the types and sizes of claims handled in this way. I work with the Insurance Manager to assist with the annual renewal process and any related tenders. ABOUT CHRIS DENT
Whilst I love my \"day job\", I also really love my \"side hustle\" where I help people save money and make money, allowing them to become debt free, develop a life long secure income and follow their dreams. I am a convert to personal development and am amazed what a positive mindset has allowed me to achieve. This has helped me focus on what I want for myself and those around me in the future. I have big plans and dreams and know that I will achieve them through hard work, learning new skills and putting in consistent and focused effort in all I do. Away from work I am involved with a number of agricultural shows and have been associated with Young Farmers for over 20 years. As a result of this, throughout the year, I assist, on a voluntary basis, with organising and running events, usually taking responsibility for stewarding the livestock sections. I also enjoy traditional music and dance and am a member of two Morris dancing sides. Whenever I get the opportunity I am keen to travel and explore Europe and the UK. I have visited every county in England as well as large parts of Scotland and Wales. At home I enjoy cooking and am an award winning jam and preserve maker.
