At Vermeer Corporation my responsibilities include both enterprise and product security. I focus most on product security, internal red teaming, detection engineering, incident response, and tool development. Being our lead for product security and threat modeling, I also get to be a part of our IT architecture committee.Outside of work I have broad interests and non-work experience in of a lot of different IT disciplines including systems administration, cryptography, software engineering, and networking. I have an extensive homelab with services for my work, friends, and family as well as a sandbox for security testing and prototyping.In my free time I like to do a lot of personal projects that help me explore technologies and disciplines that I want to learn more about. My favorite pet project is an invisible interpreted programming language I created for antivirus evasion. My favorite practical project has been creating a way to generate and apply Seccomp-BPF filters for Docker containers in an automated CI workflow. A close second is identifying a GitHub actions misconfiguration that allows 3rd parties to inject malicious code into a repository even if their PR is rejected.Constant learning is something I love to do and is a big part of who I am.You can check out all of my projects in my GitHub profile!
