   Represent and defend primarily downstream businesses including refining, chemicals, retail and distribution in environmental litigation matters involving property damage, toxic tort and agency enforcement actions. Manage trial strategy for high-profiled cases including toxic-tort/neighborhood litigation with ongoing significant remediation projects requiring close collaboration with the Regulatory, CX and Government Affairs groups. This role also includes providing legal advice and counseling to minimize litigation risks to these businesses and the Environmental Claims and Post-Closing Rights and Obligations (PCRO) groups. Also manage appellate strategy including to the United States Supreme Court. Based on years of experience as a former federal prosecutor, I have taken the lead on several criminal investigations.
