ABOUT CINZIA CASTIGLIONI
I am Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Psychology at Catholic University of Milan, where I achieved my Ph.D. in Psychology and the additional title of Doctor Europaeus after a visiting period at Leiden University (NL). I currently teach ‘Consumer and Marketing Psychology’ and ‘Psychology of Advertising’. I am also didactic coordinator for the Master in International Marketing Management (MIMM, interfaculty Psychology-Economics) where I teach ‘Consumer Behavior’ and ‘International Marketing Research’.Besides my academic career, I have been working as market and social research professional for both profit and non-profit institutions (qualitative and quantitative research). I am currently Director of ASSIRM Research and Training Center, the Italian association that brings together the major Italian companies that perform market research, opinion polls and social research.I authored several scientific publications in the fields of economic psychology/behavioral economics (charitable giving, tax behavior, nudges, framing effect, psychology of money, etc.) and consumer behavior (consumer sentiment, new patterns and trends in consumer psychology, sustainable consumption, etc.).
