ABOUT CINDY GABE ANDERSON

I’ve always been passionate about connecting people with products they love. My career started in luxury sales and merchandising at Bloomingdale’s, where I learned the importance of understanding customers and building lasting relationships. That foundation in retail sparked my interest in the bigger picture—how products are chosen, sourced, and brought to market.From there, I stepped into buying, merchandising, and marketing at ULTA Beauty, where I enjoyed blending creativity with strategy—curating assortments, developing advertising plans, and delivering products that met customers’ beauty needs.My creative eye and love for design also led me to start my own business as a self-employed interior designer. This entrepreneurial chapter allowed me to work closely with clients to transform their spaces, manage projects end-to-end, and sharpen my skills in both aesthetics and business ownership.Just prior to the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, I stepped into a critical buying role in healthcare, ensuring essential products were sourced, available, and delivered during a time of urgent demand. This experience deepened my resilience, adaptability, and ability to manage high-stakes supply challenges.I later returned to large-scale retail in category management at Walgreens, where I expanded my expertise in analytics, supplier relationships, and strategic category growth within a fast-paced environment.Today, I’ve taken that passion into the global space in sourcing Kohler Co, where I work with teams and suppliers to bring innovative, high-quality, luxury products to life. I love the challenge of building strong partnerships, solving problems, and finding ways to add value—whether for the business or the end customer.At the heart of it all, my career has been about people: the teams I collaborate with, the partners I negotiate with, and the customers we serve. I’m always looking to grow, learn, and make an impact through meaningful work.
