I went from planning weddings to scaling B2B SaaS products.I was employee #1 at a startup, then joined a cloud video surveillance company where I knew nothing about the industry. I figured it out and stayed for nearly seven years.In that time, I closed the company\'s first enterprise deal, led our expansion into Japan, and held the product org together through a full merger integration. We eliminated our QA team, went from monthly releases to daily, and quality actually improved. I owned the messaging downstream so sales and marketing always knew what shipped and why.None of that works without a culture where people own the outcome. That part matters to me as much as the product itself.
