I am a career development professional who enjoys supporting new professionals in the job search and recruitment process. Currently, I have the pleasure of training new professionals as they seek the next step after college, and I also build relationships with academic departments, faculty and administrators as they seek job market information. I enjoy making new connections with faculty, students and business and industry partners, and planning networking events and career fairs. I believe connections and collaboration provide the foundation for a strong Career Services program contributing to student retention and success.Prior to my college and university work, I served as a manager for a human services agency. I was recognized for my natural leadership ability and enthusiasm as a manager. I was promoted quickly to upper management and my days were filled with interviewing new potential staff, and helping teams work together smoothly. This work helped me recognize that I am best suited to provide leadership and support for new professionals and job seekers. Throughout my professional life I have been recognized for my desire to start with something adequate and create something excellent.
