   AvMed is a major health insurance organization.As Manager of Provider Communications & Education, I direct the organizations communications strategy for the network of more than health providers across the state of Florida, driving collaboration between the executive leadership team and our key stakeholders to plan, write, and deliver messaging on a broad spectrum of integrated content, promotions, programs, training, newsletters, press releases, collateral, web content, and digital strategies. In addition, I plan and execute provider surveys in support of AvMed\'s accreditation and organize provider education forums and events.Some notable achievements include:Streamlining and driving consistency in AvMed\'s provider messaging through a cohesive communications strategy, partnering cross-functionally to identify gaps and build communications architecture.Developing and managing several key resources utilized in AvMed\'s provider relations, including producing collateral and training materials for Medicare open enrollment and other initiatives, and managing the company\'s online provider knowledge center.Leveraging survey findings to build action plans and influence positive patient outcomes through the creation of tools and resources as a member of the strategic quality assurance committee. Improving ongoing provider relations as the editor of the company\'s Network Newsbrief provider newsletter. I oversaw a comprehensive redesign, realigned the editorial vision in partnership with key stakeholders, and coordinated the launch of the digital edition.Overseeing multiple successive NCQA reaccreditation cycles.Organizing up to ten provider education forums annually, from initial planning through execution.Project managing the redesign of the company\'s PRISM provider database and systems, and leading user change management on the transition from ICD-9 codes to the newer ICD-10 standard.
