My 20+ year career with P&G has been influenced by a corporate motto and personal desire to “innovate in any space.” For my career, this means I have seen MANY business areas and as a result, have unearthed a true passion for global travel program management. After starting in sales and account management learning best practices as it related to gaining buy-in and how to best nurture relationships, I switched to the service buying side of our business where I have been since 2006. While in purchasing I have been a driver in executing program management for various spend pools including white space, logistics, facility management and my absolute favorite category, global travel. As a services purchasing manager focusing in global travel program execution for many years, I have 3 main areas of expertise: TRAVEL PROGRAM MANAGEMENT: I am a well-rounded leader with over 12-years of experience in sourcing and planning programs, 7 of which are focused on end-to-end global travel management at the solution level. I am capable of driving value and quality in all program facets ranging from vendor/supplier management to financial operations and online travel tools. PROCESS, POLICY & PEOPLE LEADERSHIP: At the foundation of successful purchasing programs is process alignment and adherence to global policy. In an effort to further develop my skills in this area, I took on my current global purchases governance role where I concentrate on developing and enhancing standard operating procedures that simplify purchasing policy, generate cost savings, and reduce corporate risk. STRATEGIC PLANNING: Although I can create innovative plans that disrupt any spend space, I am particularly skilled in developing then executing travel strategies that extract maximum value from all program elements and associated stakeholder relationships.    In 2018, I made a lateral move to this 3PG governance role with the goal of expanding my expertise in setting and ensuring adherence to global sourcing policy. This latest transition has rounded out my program management capabilities in all spend pools, but particularly travel.This role is quite different than my priors in that I am developing and implementing strategic plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for third party facilities management sourcing activities to ensure alignment with business requirements. I am involved holistically in guiding outside sourcing strategies, business award recommendations, due diligence processes, SLA/regulatory adherence, and continuous process enhancement. SO FAR, MY KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE: Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on third-party facility management purchasing process with particular insight into and control over contractual procedures pertaining to Statement of Work (SoW), Service Level Agreement (SLA), and Contracted Services Agreement (CSA).
