Coordinate the activities of absence programs for Cisco; assist/support Benefits Program Manager; implement customer surveys; assist in client training and benefits fairs; and prepare reports for program administration. Also responsible for coordinating resolution of escalated issues involving absence program; evaluating results of absence programs and best practice in absence administration; assessing effectiveness of absence plan administration; assisting in development of management reports; and preparation of reports assessing financial impact of program administration. Working with appropriate stakeholders for Cisco and Sedgwick, I also ensure continuous performance and process improvement; maintain knowledge of legal requirements and best practices relevant to absence programs and administration; update and maintain absence program procedures relating to administration, compliance requirements, audits of leaves, employee handbook and other program-related documents. In addition, I support Cisco\'s employee relations group in employment activities as it relates to the disability and/or leave process, job accommodations, vocational review, and return-to-work process; coach Cisco human resources in Integrated Disability Management (IDM) program processes, and manage the IDM-vendor relationships and programs within the U.S. and Canada (including worker’s compensation).
