About Cindy Gustafson Decker
I am the Executive Director of Tulsa Educare, an organization committed to transforming the lives of children from birth through age five through high-quality early learning. Tulsa Educare operates four exemplary early childhood schools located in under-resourced neighborhoods. The organization then leverages this knowledge and expertise to deliver impactful programs that support the broader Tulsa community and to strengthen the national early learning system. I’ve spent the past two decades working to improve education as a program leader, researcher, and board member. With the overall goal of increasing child growth, I work to build organizational culture, set strategy, use quantitative data, develop teams and individuals, and innovate for continuous improvement all while ensuring accurate financial reporting and diligent grant management. I’ve been married to my husband Jason since We have two children, Fairlyn and Morgan, a dog named Bumi and a cat named Athena.
