Humbled to join the newly founded Male Breast Cancer Research Foundation (MBCRF) as a member of the Board of Directors, where we will work to create a new ecosystem for male breast cancer research.Despite men accounting for approximately 2,800 new breast cancer diagnoses in the U.S. each year—representing 1% of all cases—they receive functionally zero dedicated research funding. MBCRF was founded by Jake Messier, whose Stage 4 breast cancer diagnosis led to the discovery that there needs to be more focus and research in this space.
