As a dedicated leader and scientist with over 20 years of expertise in cancer biology and immunology, I’m committed to advancing drug discovery from target evaluation to clinical development. In my role as Sr. Director at Eisai Inc, I lead and partner with global teams in developing therapeutic solutions. My work encompasses pioneering drug conjugate programs, exploring mechanism of action and combination rationale and fostering strategic collaborations. I am passionate about leveraging data science to revolutionize drug discovery and translational research, while team building mentoring the next generation of scientists in our field. My career in pharmaceutical research is deeply influenced by my family’s long history in healthcare. Starting with my grandfather, a pioneer in introducing Western medicine to China, and continuing with my parents and relatives who became doctors, I grew up surrounded by a commitment to improving lives through medicine. I now focus on drug discovery, driven by the desire to create new therapies that make a meaningful impact on patients. My leadership philosophy centers on harnessing diverse teams\' collective expertise. From local to international collaborations across the UK, Japan, China and the US, I\'ve cultivated an inclusive environment that sparks creativity and drives results. Emphasizing clear communication and strategic alignment, I\'ve guided multi-disciplinary teams to translate innovative concepts into clinical candidates.
