In the summer of 2021, as a young woman from Houston, Texas, I packed up my belongings and moved to a small town outside of Chicago to jumpstart my career. Nearly four years later, I can confidently say I have no regrets.My journey began as an Area Manager at Amazon, where I’ve been able to combine my interest in process management with my passion for problem-solving to effectively manage multiple areas of a large-scale operation.It didn’t take long for me to realize that the most important asset of any organization is its people. Whether leading teams of 4 or over 100, I’ve focused on creating opportunities to teach, develop, and empower high-performing teams.I currently serve as an Operations Site Leader, where I own the overall performance, health, and execution of a site comprising 380 leaders and associates. In this role, I drive site-level strategy and operational excellence by aligning cross-functional stakeholders, leveraging data-driven decision-making, and leading through a strong team of managers to ensure consistent delivery and continuous improvement across the operation.Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue growing both personally and professionally, leveraging my experience to drive impact, build strong teams, and contribute meaningfully to organizational success.
