Medicine Hands, Inc, a progressive, women-owned organization that creates partnerships within medical communities, bringing integrated therapies to inpatient and outpatient settings beginning in Colorado, then expanded to Nebraska and beyond. As part of the patient’s multidisciplinary care team, we develop individualized strategies for best practices that consider the patient\'s unique conditions, needs, and circumstances. We then utilize the most appropriate touch therapy interventions to assist our patients in a greater sense of well being.For almost twenty years, Medicine Hands has been at the forefront of implementing complementary therapies programs as a standard of care in hospital, rehabilitation, and outpatients settings throughout our community. Presently, Medicine Hands, Inc. plays a central role within the Care Teams of 17 departments within 12 healthcare facilities and serves patients in: • Inpatient Oncology and Medical/Surgery • Inpatient Women’s Services – Labor and Postpartum Care• Inpatient Rehabilitation• Inpatient Critical and Cardiac Care Unit• Inpatient Orthopedics• Outpatient Oncology Radiation Therapy• Outpatient Oncology InfusionIntegrative Medicine, including massage therapy and acupuncture, is a multidisciplinary approach, fostering cooperation between patients, medical caregivers, and their therapists. We, at Medicine Hands, believe that integrative care is now an established part of health care in the United States and that we are well positioned to provide the quality and level of care facilities demand for their patients.
