ABOUT CINDIE HUBIAK

I am a Senior Executive specializing in Board Governance, Strategy, Financial Management, Human Resources and Consulting for a variety of for-profit and nonprofit organizations. I also provide professional training and development, in addition to advising on advocacy activities. Key components of my approach involve mindfulness, compassion and relationship building, as well as active listening/questioning to understand and achieve objectives. Currently I serve on three corporate boards: a mutual fund where I also serve as the Audit Committee Financial Expert, a community news organization in multiple locations in the United States and an international organization that offers assessment tools to reveal human potential. I’m also part of the Instructional Team at Arizona State University’s Lodestar Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Innovation. Most recently, I retired after more than 20 years as the President & CEO of the Arizona Society of CPAs where I coordinated bi-annual strategic planning meetings, significantly grew the government relations programs, rebranded the organization, provided scholarships and accomplished other activities with 10 team members. My career took me to Europe for two years as Director of Finance for a distribution company and to Asia for one year as General Manager of a manufacturing plant. In the United States, I served as Director of Human Resources for a privately held manufacturing company with 1,500 employees in four countries and started my career as a CPA with one of the Big Four accounting firms.
