ABOUT ÇIĞDEM AK
I develop machine learning models to understand how disease develops and how patients respond to treatment. My research combines math, computation, and biology to find patterns in complex biological data from multi-omic to spatial single-cell datasets. I focus on interpretable, scalable approaches. My goal is to build tools that not only predict outcomes but also explain the biology behind them, advancing precision medicine through deeper mechanistic insight.
