As the Family Support Coordinator at Prevention Links, I’m dedicated to supporting families impacted by substance use disorder by providing education, resources, and compassionate peer support. I work closely with individuals and families to help them navigate the complex journey of recovery—offering both emotional support and practical guidance.My role involves providing short-term, one-on-one support, leading weekly support groups, and educating families on the recovery process so they can better understand and support their loved ones. I connect clients to community resources, offer referrals, and use evidence-based strategies to empower families and strengthen resilience.Prevention Links is a nonprofit, grant-funded organization, and all services we provide are free of charge. Through our work, we aim to reduce stigma, build understanding, and help families and individuals move forward with hope and the tools they need for long-term recovery.I’m passionate about building strong community partnerships and creating safe spaces for healing, learning, and connection.
