Transforming Passion into CareersYouth from under-served and low-income households have barriers that impede their opportunities to engage in effective career planning and access to people who can open doors. According to CityLab.com, a child in Atlanta, raised by a family in the bottom fifth of the national family income, has about a 4% chance of becoming an earner in the top fifth of national income by the time they are 30.P4L\'s mission is to provide forward-thinking career coaching and immersion opportunities driven by the student\'s passions and talents in a fun, structured, and high-energy environment, helping under-resourced youth transform their passions into rewarding careers. Our Passion Seekers Program provides interactive workshops held for nonprofit youth organizations and Atlanta Public Schools. Our workshops take youth on career discovery journeys to show them how to use their passions and core strengths as foundations to determine their career paths. We strategically partner with nonprofits serving under-resourced youth and Title 1 schools within the Atlanta Public School system. Our focus in District 5 schools (the district with the largest number of Title 1 Schools in Atlanta) gives students opportunities they would normally not encounter in their everyday lives.
