I’m an Engineering Manager / Tech Lead / Tech Principal with 10+ years in software and a strong track record of stabilising products, improving delivery, and helping teams move from reactive to reliable. I’ve led cross-functional squads across SaaS and mobile, often coming into messy situations to diagnose what’s really going on (tech, process, or team), then building pragmatic roadmaps that ship. I also bring a commercial mindset from having run businesses outside of tech, which helps me connect engineering decisions to cost, risk and growth. My style is empathetic and data-driven: clear goals, strong 1:1s, balanced delivery vs quality, and a general North Star of building autonomous, accountable teams. During a recent career break I\'ve stayed hands-on with the latest tooling, shipping products using Claude Code and Codex, and building a multi-agent AI assistant with RAG pipelines and local LLM inference. I’m looking for a permanent role where I can keep growing as a people leader, stay close to product outcomes, and help build a high-performing engineering culture.
