I’m a public health professional with a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology and Biostatistics and a certificate in Maternal and Child Health. My work centers on advancing health equity through rigorous data analysis, surveillance, and research particularly in reproductive and maternal health for Black and marginalized communities. I have experience conducting epidemiological and surveillance research using SAS, SQL, and REDCap. My work has included analyzing hospital discharge data (HCUP) to identify disparities in severe maternal morbidity (SMM), collaborating with local and state health departments to improve program performance, data quality, and health outcomes, and supporting disease surveillance and case investigations for infectious diseases and HIV/STIs.
