ABOUT CIARAN WALLS

I am the Chief of Staff to the Global A&A Business Leader, Jean-Marc Mickeler who leads the Deloitte Audit strategy globally impacting more than professionals. Working closely with Jean-Marc and executive teams across the business I facilitate strategy development and implementation for the audit and assurance practice. Leveraging a foundation as a law graduate and ACA qualification, having completed my training contract in Deloitte Private, Cambridge, UK, I bring a robust blend of legal acumen and financial expertise. My career at Deloitte has seen me lead external audits across diverse sectors, including manufacturing, logistics, and legal industries.A key focus of my experience has been in operational excellence and global strategy. I played a pivotal role in establishing and scaling the Audit Delivery Centre (ADC) network, initially for the UK and North South Europe, and subsequently expanding it globally, with significant contributions to operations in Rzeszow and Bucharest. In 2020, I joined the central Global ADC team, where I spearheaded initiatives to improve efficiency, standardise processes, and develop the product across the entire network, successfully regionalising this effort by 2025.Beyond my professional commitments, I enjoy attending various sporting events, engaging in fitness-related hobbies, and playing golf.
