ABOUT CIARAN MORRISSEY
I am a commercial Account Handler based in the North East of England. Prior to this, I worked in a variety of roles across the insurance industry, including claims handling, fraud research, and policy validation, personal lines motor underwriting and commercial motor underwriting. Outside work, I have served on Sunderland City Council since May 2021. I have extensive experience in political campaigning, including as a volunteer, candidate, and organiser, primarily in Tyne and Wear, but elsewhere across the North East, at both a council and parliamentary level. I have a BA from the University of York, an MA from Newcastle University, and a Certificate from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
