Manage relationships between IT & the business units, including the support functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing, Facilities and IT Service delivery- Act as liaison within IT for the business unit to help them navigate the IT function- Consult business units, capture & review IT usage, services, technology, digital, and department specific projects to identify, forecast and develop IT needs- Understand function(s) at the strategic 3 year level as well as operational level, to act as the voice of the business on both project & service delivery and maintain & plan to deliver IT services and projects against this plan- Help the business unit with budget planning and forecasting their particular IT requirements- Utilise the adoption and business change function to insure IT solution(s) and service(s) are embedded within the business unit- Measure levels of engagement & relationship strength by reporting and measuring processes which include both operational and client value driven as key KPIs- Together with the Innovation and Digital function, help the BRM team manage business unit ideas and new products, including activity on the ideation platform and helping with innovation and new product development within the business unit(s)- Understand the business needs and pressures and help to educate the rest of the IT function at all levels from IT Board to IT Management team and below- Continually research the market place to understand what our competitors are doing in the space of innovation and digital products- Become an active participant on the BDO social platforms, becoming one of the known faces of IT and Digital to grow their network across the business- Maintain a pipeline of technology opportunities, justified with relevant metrics, or changes needed in line with business strategies- Work productively and positively with IT and key vendors to ensure the relevant solutions, changes or services are put in place.
