A focused and accomplished cyber security professional with over five years of experience spanning Information Technology, cyber security, operations, infrastructure security, digital risk management, and secure communications.I bring a disciplined and analytical mindset shaped by service within the Armed Forces, reinforced by commercial experience in enterprise environments and ongoing academic study towards a BSc (Hons) in Cyber Security with The Open University.I have worked within a 24/7 Security Operations Centre (SOC) environment and contributed to the implementation of security capabilities aligned to operational risk, resilience, and compliance. My technical background includes identity governance, conditional access enforcement across Microsoft cloud platforms, KQL, endpoint and device posture hardening, mobile security, and the development of backup and recovery workflows to support continuity, operational capability, and incident response.I particularly enjoy working with Microsoft’s security, identity, and compliance ecosystem—leveraging tools such as Sentinel, Defender XDR, Intune, Entra ID, Purview, and Azure to build scalable, policy-driven solutions that align with real-world operational needs.In parallel, I’ve supported broader IT operations—providing technical assistance, maintaining infrastructure, and contributing to disaster recovery efforts across physical and virtualised systems.
