Lead In-house counsel for First Quantum Minerals Ltd, a TSX listed multi-billion dollar global metals and mining company with operations and assets in five continents; with a particular focus on Africa, Central America and South America. Responsibility for leading in-house function on transactions in the following areas: M&A, finance (corporate finance, project finance & high yield bonds), joint-venture arrangements, exploration activities and litigation management. Advise senior management in relation to corporate governance, compliance strategy and securities/disclosure obligations. Manage external counsel and other advisor relationships.
