As an experienced Process Engineer, I am skilled at developing capital-efficient manufacturing processes by designing facilities, both new and existing, to operate at their optimal production output. Currently working hybrid between Houston, TX and Geismar, LA- Led FEL-1 scope development for $50K-$2MM capital projects at Chevron’s renewable diesel facility, defining Minimum Functional Cases for ~15 PHA/FHA action items focused on safety, reliability, and fire protection- Supported turnaround preparation and brownfield modifications through design coordination, field verification, development of 4 MOCs, and support of 6 PSSRs, helping drive safe and effective project execution- Supported FEL-2/FEL-3 execution readiness for SIS/BPCS upgrades and redundant metering projects designed to preserve IPL integrity and reduce process risk- Performed process modeling, engineering calculations, and field walkdowns to support design decisions involving hydraulics, overpressure scenarios, piping upgrades, and constructability- Led development of flare overfill mitigation scopes and conducted flare pump hydraulic and pressure drop analyses to support system design, evaluate operability, and address process safety concerns.
