Chyann Sapp is a civic leader with professional experience in the public, private, and voluntary sectors. Ms. Sapp spent seven years in government relations, serving as the first Youth Voter Coordinator of NYC, and moved on to manage special projects at NYC Transit. Her youth voting programming and curricula have been recognized by Mayor Bill de Blasio and implemented citywide by the Department of Education across its public and charter high schools. In addition to her government experience, Ms. Sapp was a real estate sales agent on The Bass Team at Corcoran and the Associate Director of East Coast Business Development at a nonprofit. She is also the co-writer and Associate Director of the award-winning Off-Broadway play,\"Renaissance in the Belly of a Killer Whale\". Her hobbies include DIY projects, discovering music, creating new art, and spending time with her pets.
