As the Outreach Program Manager for the Denver Fire Department (DFD), I lead the Outreach Program by overseeing community engagement, legislative liaison work, interagency coordination, and special projects. My responsibilities include planning and managing community events, supporting public information efforts, and addressing complex and sensitive departmental issues. In this role, I contribute to DFD’s strategic plan by improving customer service for Denver’s diverse communities and ensuring our outreach efforts are consistent and effective.I serve as a connector between DFD and the community, fostering communication around fire education, prevention, and safety initiatives. By strengthening outreach and education, I help expand DFD’s impact and build trust with the citizens we serve.About DFD: Established in 1866, the Denver Fire Department provides fire suppression, emergency medical response, technical rescue, hazardous materials response, and water and high-angle rescue services to the City and County of Denver. With more than firefighters and 40 fire stations—including five at Denver International Airport—DFD supports both Denver and neighboring communities, including Glendale, Sheridan, Englewood, and Skyline.

For more than 25 years, I’ve proudly served as a dedicated public servant, with over 15 years of experience as a Chief of Staff in government relations. My background spans campaign and event management, local government operations, media relations, nonprofit leadership, and office administration.I hold a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice & Criminology degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver, a Master’s in Public Administration with a Local Government concentration from the University of Colorado Denver, and an Executive Certificate from Georgetown University’s Juvenile Diversion Program.I’m honored to continue serving the community as the Manager of Community/Program Outreach and Legislative Liaison for the Denver Fire Department.
