About Christopher Frias
Hello! My name is Christopher Frias. I\'m a sixth–year Industrial & Systems Engineering graduate at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. I\'m an experienced and ambitious engineer with a diversified background in industrial and operations engineering, alongside with leadership titles throughout my tenure. I\'ve had industry experiences that include optimizing industrial processes for fighter jet aircrafts at The Boeing Company as an Industrial Engineer, where I successfully mitigated downstream operational backlog and increased throughput in our manufacturing efforts. I additionally worked as an Operations Engineer for Lockheed Space, increasing our operational efficiencies for the Artemis I & II Orion Crew Vehicle, specializing in electrical ground support hardware production and testing. In addition to my technical expertise, I served as the Chapter President for Rutgers University\'s Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Student Chapter. In this leadership role, I effectively managed chapter operations, established policies, and fostered partnerships between the chapter, industry and community partners. I have served as a Student Ambassador for Rutgers University\'s School of Engineering, where I played a pivotal role in recruitment efforts by sharing my experiences with prospective students and conducting insightful tours. I am confident that with a dedication to passion coupled with ambition, in conjunction with a strong foundation in engineering and leadership, positions me as a valuable asset to any team and I’m dedicated to bringing talent to a groundbreaking and pioneering environment.
