About Chuol Deng
With over two decades of experience in leading cross-functional technical programs and teams, I am the founder of CloudSafari LLC, a cloud consulting and solutions company. I have a strong background in data center operations and cloud infrastructure services, having held senior technical program management roles at Google, AWS and AirBnb. I also served as a senior special forces Green Beret, leading deployment and maintenance of highly sensitive, mission critical systems in hostile and austere environments around the world. I am skilled in program management, operational planning, agile, and cross-functional leadership, and hold certifications in PMP, CSM, and ITIL. I also have a master\'s degree in public policy analysis from George Mason University, which gives me a unique perspective on the social and environmental impacts of cloud computing. My mission is to help clients leverage the power and potential of the cloud while ensuring sustainability, security, and scalability.
