ABOUT CHUNRI GUPTA
Chunri is a final year law student at Symbiosis Law School, Noida, pursuing the B.B.A. LL.B. 5-year Integrated programme. She hails from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. Chunri has developed an inclination towards the field of Intellectual Property Rights, Corporate Law, Taxation law and is working towards building her career in the field of Corporate law. Her interest towards these fields developed when she started pursuing a certification course titled “Intellectual Property Rights & Information Technology in the Internet Age” by Indian Law Institute, Delhi. Chunri is a dedicated and active member of her law school, where she regularly engages in almost every event that is being organised. She never misses the opportunity to show her skills of multi-tasking with efficiency and handling heavy workload in a team environment. She thrives on solving complex situations with the most pragmatic solutions. Chunri has been in the organizing committee of her law school’s cultural committee and has also taken active role during Symfiesta’20: The Annual College fest of Symbiosis Law School, Noida. Chunri has over 15+ months of work experience by way of internships. Right from her first year of law school, she strategized and planned her internships keeping in mind her goal towards building a dynamic work experience. Her internships therefore range across different organizations, starting from think tanks, socio-legal blogs, High court level litigation firms and corporate law firms. This has helped her gain an in-depth understanding and first-hand experience on court filings, procedural rules, researching, and drafting. Chunri can discourse at great lengths on recent judicial developments on various social issues, taxation law jurisprudence and intellectual property rights law. She actively writes on these topics and publishes her perspectives on legal blogs and columns.
