About Chung-Hay Luk
I am a broad thinker, owing to my bachelor\'s in bioengineering, doctoral studies in neuroscience, and hobby in wearable electronics. Across my research activities, I primarily focus on various aspects of user experience- How to quantify human perception, e.g, of odors in my bachelor\'s thesis and of addictive cues in my postdoctoral work- How choice behavior differs in the brain when guided by visuals in the environment versus the user\'s actions (doctoral thesis), and - How people can more richly express themselves, e.g, visualizing their internal biometric states like heartbeat through electronic jewelry (hobbyist work for Sensebridge.com).I am always happy to contribute to projects, in which I can study users\' actions and preferences and/or empower users in some way.
