Provide high quality ultrasound scanning to customers. Provide a qualified and expert diagnostic assessment to parents of the key aspects of their baby’s development and the pregnancy. Perform maternity scans i.e. gynecology/early pregnancy ultrasound scan.Performed 4D fetal examination, always sensitive to patients needs ensure their safety and comfort during the examination. Perform Transvaginal ultrasound scan for early pregnancy scans. Perform all trimester scans, growth scans and anomaly scans. Experience in subfertility scanning and follicle trackingPerform Gynecology scans and provides correctly completed independent reports.Provide correctly completed obstetrics report to each customer. Ensure that mothers and families are well informed throughout the scan process and are made to feel both comfortable and relaxed. Produce the best possible images of baby using all accepted techniques to position baby in an appropriate way to gain clear images. Provide high levels of compassion and support where a fetal anomaly is identified.Fully and openly discuss any actual or suspected anomaly with the parent(s). Practice unsupervised or as part of a team, providing an independent diagnostic report and able to communicate scan findings to clinicians and/or patients. Analyze and communicate sensitive and complex information in a manner understandable to patients.Experienced in correlating patient’s clinical history with the ultrasound findings/images to make a proper diagnosis that will aid in patient’s management. Able to evaluate ultrasound requests to understand the clinical question posed and be able to interrogate with ultrasound to answer the questionI use the ultrasound machine according to the acknowledged guidelines while maintaining equipment care and safety.
