I am a digital communications consultant at Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP), where I assist the State Priorities Partnership (SPP) organizations in 44 states to enhance their online communications and advocacy efforts. I have over 21 years of experience in organizing and running campaigns at both the grassroots and digital levels, working with governments, trade associations, non-profits, labor unions, and progressive political groups.I am also the founder of Next Level Digital, a venture that leverages my expertise in strategic communications, online mobilization, social media, and media relations to help clients reach their campaign goals. I have won multiple awards for my web video and social media campaigns, and have been involved in some of the most high-profile fights for labor rights, social justice, and democracy. My mission is to use the power of digital media to amplify the voices of working people and promote positive change in the world.

In this role, I assist the State Priorities Partnership (SPP) organizations in 44 states at the direction of CBPP staff to do the following- Assessments of current online communications- Support list building and advocacy efforts targeting specific legislators or geographies based on a state’s legislative priorities- Social media support, including the development of graphics and other creative media for use on Facebook, Twitter and other social media websites- Strategic guidance on how to develop a layered social media strategy- Strategic recommendations and development of banner ads or placed social media- Training and support to create and develop skills to boost existing capacity of the SPP groups- Strategizing and then launching programmatic ad campaigns
