   Lead and manage the Bellus Health strategic and operational IT roadmap, infrastructure, software requirements and capabilities, as well as the selection, deployment, and integration of systems, software, and processes. This includes quality management, financial, and clinical data management while enforcing security, regulatory requirements, and privacy. • Created Information Technology department. • Establish and maintain IT budget. • Managed IT department and integrations through acquisition of Bellus Health by GSK in June 2023. • Oversee IT systems, policies, and processes aligned with SOX compliance including implementation and monitoring of IT general controls, segregation of duties, and documentation of controls and testing. • Lead company systems projects including deployment of Egnyte, Veeva, Terranova Security. Work closely with Quality Assurance and Project Management teams to establish roadmaps, qualification, documentation, and support. • Planned and built out IT infrastructure, security, and phone system for the first US physical site. • Developed Disaster Recovery and IT Business Continuity Plan and IT support in QA efforts for GDPR and other data privacy standards. • Manage and act on data search and preservation requests for Legal and Financial departments. • Hire and manage IT team to support company systems, end user support, and infrastructure support. • Manage vendors for systems, infrastructure, account security, budgeting, and procurement. • Established cybersecurity training system including phishing test campaigns and training schedules. • Established an onboarding orientation training for IT needs in conjunction with HR department.
