Contracted as a Product Consultant to deliver the Default judgment process for HMCTS (Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunals Service) and Notify the driver process in the IPAFFS system for DEFRA Working in a Scaled Agile environment utilising Behaviour Driven Design (BDD) and both Scrum and Kanban frameworks to deliver a live service at Government Digital Services (GDS) standard Currently IPAFFS system Product owner for DEFRA ( Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) Current responsibilities: Led the product discovery (Alpha and Beta phase) for the digitisation of HMCTS Default judgment process Eliciting and documenting business requirements from a technically diverse set of stakeholders. Translating those requirements into features, epics, user stories, tasks and testable Gherkin format acceptance criteria. Leading/facilitating agile/scrum meetings such as iterative requirement planning meetings, backlog prioritisation, sprint reviews, retrospectives, playback, etc. Managing competing priorities and business requirements/backlog and epic roadmap prioritisation to deliver outcomes using Agile/Scrum software development methodology Design and implementation of 3 new digital service models, enhancing the digital capability of HMCTS to deliver a digital courts service and reducing progress chasing customer contact Undertaking Scrum Master responsibilities to coach and enable the team to build maturity. Whilst also progressing tasks to completion in both Scrum and Kanban frameworks Successfully designing, developing, and releasing live services to Government Digital Services (GDS) standard, enabling removal of paper-based administrative processes to achieve a leaner TOM
