About Chuck Savage

Thirty-plus years and counting of meeting and getting to know and make friends with an an amazing collection of people in my career as a professional photographer and business owner. Specialties: Seeing and photographing reflections of truth, spirit, energy, emotion and mood in people and places for the benefit of businesses,institutions and individuals. Digitally capture, process, manage and distribute the still and motion imagery while keeping current with the knowledge and technology to do so. Concurrent with photography commissions for advertising, business and editorial clients, I’ve collected a large body of personal and fine art imagery. Video and multimedia production services are relatively recent additions to my business services. To date I have produced five hard-cover coffee-table books of my photographs for educational and non-profit institutions and made presentations on a variety of photo-related subjects to student and professional organizations, including at CASE V in Chicago. Awards include those from the Communication Arts Design Annual and the PRINT Regional Design Awards. From 1990 through 2006 I also financed and produced a large body of stock photography which has been licensed worldwide through Corbis and previously, The Stock Market. During that time I helped found and operate Dominion PhotoSource, a regional stock photo library.
