Chuck is the Manager for the Environmental Permitting & Management (EP & M) Team, Prairies Region in Canada. He has over 27 years of experience working on a wide range of projects across numerous sectors, including transportation, airport and bridges, freight rail and transit, water and wastewater, urban development, oil and gas, pipeline, mining, energy/power and industrial projects. His technical experience includes environmental planning and management, screening & baseline studies, impact assessments, Indigenous engagement and knowledge studies, archaeology, historic and heritage, regulatory permitting, environmental monitoring, construction environmental management and compliance. He has working knowledge of provincial and federal environmental legislation and permitting requirements in Canada. Chuck and his team are currently supporting coordinated federal-provincial impact assessments & preliminary engineering designs for proposed $500M, 120-160 km of new all-season roads in northern Ontario; regulatory and advisement for Canada’s nuclear developments; regulatory support for Shell Canada’s Site Assessment & Remediation team projects in Alberta & BC, regulatory support on BC Hydro and BC private client mining developments, program support and compliance on CETO Project for Altalink, environmental program support for Defence Construction Canada (DCC), and advisory/support for the Green Line Project in Calgary.
