Chuck began his leadership journey in the US Air Force, retiring as a Superintendent of Flightline Operations after 26 years. The journey continues as Chuck volunteers with the Mountaineers a leader for this non-profit organization.Who is Work Team Solutions? Owned by Chuck Welter, Principal.With degrees in Business Administration and Organization Leadership and professional credentials in Government Contract Management and Volunteer Leadership, Chuck uses a diverse set of tools and techniques to deliver results, from Statistical Process Control to personality assessments and teambuilding workshops. Work Team Solutions brings deep expertise in Value Stream Mapping, Process Development and Root Cause Analysis. As a 6 Sigma Black Belt, Work Team Solutions has a track record solving problems in disciplines ranging from Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering and Supplier Management to Human Resources and Internal Governance. These tools give team members and their leaders clarity of purpose on how to achieve goals. I have helped business units improve the quality of responses to government Corrective Action Requests by clarifying the problem to be solved before initiating analysis and corrective action. I have improved new hire training flow by using 6 Sigma to analyze and improve testing processes, saving $4M in rework over 5 years.I’m an expert coach and facilitator with Insight Discovery, MBTI, DiSC, Inside Out Coaching and Strength Finder. For over 30 years, I have used these tools to enable groups and teams to overcome differences in their approaches to work and find common ground in mutually agreed business priorities. I have demonstrated the ability to work with people and teams across the organization spectrum. I have designed and lead work sessions for executive vice-presidents and their leadership teams, Integrated Product Development Teams of engineers, and shop floor employees and their leaders through Total Productive Maintenance and Employee Engagement teams.
