Chuck Michael is a highly-respected banker with an impressive track record and stellar reputation cultivated over a 40-year career in the Portland area. Chuck came to Columbia Bank from an acquisition of Pacific Continental Bank (which acquired Capital Pacific Bank). Prior to joining Capital Pacific Chuck was with First Independent Bank where he served as division manager, heading the bank’s commercial lending operations in the Northwest. He began his career with West One Bank and has held positions with Bank of the Northwest and Bank of the Cascades. Active in the community, he currently serves on the board of the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society; the Humane Society of Southwest Washington; Partner\'s in Careers, and he sits on the President’s Council of the Portland Business Alliance. He is a past board member of Classroom Law Project and remains involved as a volunteer in their youth and high school programs.
