As the Special Agent in Charge of the Kansas City Field Office District, I am responsible for all U.S. Secret Service investigative and protective operations and activities. This includes the oversight and management of highly trained Special Agent and Administrative, Professional and Technical personnel. Investigative functions include the suppression of counterfeit United States currency, enforcement of federal laws (specifically those relating to the finance and banking sectors), highly complex cyber crimes and the operation of the Kansas City Electronic Crime Task Force (KCECTF), a multi-agency task force managed by the and the Kansas City Financial Crimes Task Force (KCFCTF) which is also managed by the with state and local law enforcement partners working together to combat financial crime in the Kansas City metropolitan area. Responsible for all protective activities including the investigation of threats directed at protectees, employees and facilities. Also responsible for all public affairs and media inquiries for Secret Service related activities in Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri.
