About Chuck Cleland-Pass

Upon returning to the United States in 2004, I decided to enter the field of Workers’ Compensation as a claims clerk. Over the last 20+ years, I have worked as a Medical Only Adjuster, a Lost Time Adjuster, a Lost Time Supervisor, an Assistant Claims Manager, a Claims Manager and a Claims Director. I have handled claims for both carriers and Third Party Administrators throughout my career. As an adjuster, I have used my strengths such as multitasking, meeting deadlines and thinking outside the box in order to investigate, reserve and resolve claims. As a supervisor, I have overseen all aspects of claims including investigating, reserving, documentation, evaluation, negotiation and settlement; as a claims manager, I have overseen a team of five supervisors and have worked to evaluate the performance of the claims staff at regular intervals. My favorite thing about Workers’ Compensation is that no two days are the same and you have the opportunity to “wear many hats”, or perform various tasks. No matter my position, I have always focused on delivering quality customer service and following through on best practices. While at AmTrust, I founded a “Georgia Panel Committee” that created new panels for our Georgia clients resulting in reduced indemnity/medical/litigation costs for our customers. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling (I have now seen all 30 MLB baseball stadiums) as well as studying economics.
